This beautiful Piggy Bank became the part of the “Edith” collection in 1948. The animal figurine is a very rare piece that came from Germany. It will definitely create a charming art deco appearance in your home. It’s a cute and colourful vintage item made of ceramics and covered in glaze. Beautifully designed and hand-painted with bold colors. It has glazed ceramic surface which makes this piece of art identifiable anywhere you decide to put it.  It is has a screaming red glazes / enamels finish on ceramics in bright red, green, dark blue, light blue and orange hues and an adorable floral hand-paint on the sides. His tail and mouth are cutely coloured in bright blue and little ears are green inside.

It really is a beautiful work of art that has been created with love for details. This is a must to have in one’s collection of special W Germany pottery in general, and in the collection of ceramic piggy banks / coin banks / pig figurines/ pig items in particular. Please note that the piggy bank is open on the bottom and has no closing cup! Otherwise, it is in good condition and damage-free. The piggy measures approximately 4″ х 5″.
